On the positive pojnts: great location, neat hotel room, great concierge but there are significant points that made our experience more than subpar: - 1 out of the 3 elevators was under maintenance for the full stay meaning people at low floors like us had sometimes to wait for 5 to 10 min to go down during peak hours - the management of the breakfast on Sunday was a disaster. We had been asked to wait for 15 min. After 25 min, still no room found for us while many guests who arrived later than us (with same amount of people) were accomodated; obviously we were not the only ones to be frustrated by this since when I went to moan, the lady managing the breakfast had already to deal with another family who complained about the same. After 30 min of waiting we gave up. This left really a bitter taste about the whole experience and big disappointment

The floor at the entrance of room 1510 was wet with water. It seems the housekeeper didn't clean it properly. Please be more careful next time. The elevator was under maintenance, so I had to wait for a long time.

This hotel is in the heart of the CBD, close to everything. Very classy hotel, bar area very relaxed vibe and buffet breakfast is definitely a must. Staff all very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean with comfy beds and the pillows are the best.

My first hotel when I touch down Sydney. Lovely receptionist when we checked in. Hotel is alittle dated but the warm hospitality makes it all worth.

I enjoyed my time at the Swissotel, however I was late to get into my room. I arrived at 2:30pm-3pm and my room was not ready. I waited until after 4pm before it was ready. There appeared to be only one lift operational so you had to wit for the lift and then it was always packed with people and stopped on about every level.
