I think it’s unfair that an 8 is rated amber, I would say an 8 should be the entry level green rating. It was an excellent stay overall, my only critiques are the bed wasn’t the most comfortable for a 5* hotel and the lifts can be quite chaotic. With the exception of these, it was everything I needed to be and let me worship to the best of my ability. If I am ever blessed enough to be back in Makkah, Swissotel Makkah is the only hotel I will be returning to.
