My stay was disappointing for several reasons. First, the soundproofing between rooms was extremely poor. Even though I specifically requested a non-connected room, I could clearly hear loud noise and children screaming from the room next door as if there was an open door between us, which made it very difficult to rest. Second, the breakfast offering was not at the level expected from a 5-star hotel. Fresh brewed black coffee was not available at all, and only a basic coffee machine was provided. I asked the staff, including the restaurant deputy manager, Mr. Jalal, and was informed that fresh coffee was unfortunately not available. In a 5-star hotel, proper fresh coffee is not an extra detail, but a basic expectation. In addition, the internal wardrobe light was left on continuously and would not turn off, which forced me to request a technician to disconnect it completely. This should have been identified and fixed before the room was assigned. Another issue was that the telephone cable was disconnected when I first arrived. Since the room phone is the main way to contact hotel services, this was very inconvenient. I had to reconnect it myself, and even then, the cable remained loose and unstable. This should also have been checked before check-in. Overall, these issues reflect poor room inspection and preparation, and the experience fell below what should be expected from a 5-star property.
