Nice hotel. However I was disappointed that it has not been possible to upgrade me to the upper room level, although I am platinum and that I have filled in advance the checkin questionnaire : the hotel did not anticipate my upgrade and no room was available for upgrade.

Sast check in sepertinya masi trainee, didnt go smoothly. Breakfast quality and service is extremely poor for 5 star hotel. Had to wait 15 mins for table, table and floor is very dirty. Chef and manager busy gossiping instead of working, servers looks inproperly train

It has been more than 5 years since I visited Jakarta. I took the advice of my colleague to stay at Swissotel PIK in this trip as it is near the airport and the customer that I was supposed to visit. I was very glad that I took my colleague's advice. Firstly, this hotel is only 15 minutes away from the airport. Secondly, even though it is near the airport, this hotel is also located beside the PIK Mall which has all kinds of shops and facilities. When I reached the hotel, I was impressed with its interior design and how well maintained it was. During check-in, I was told that my room was not ready (it was only 9:00 am) as based on my loyalty status, the room assigned for me was a suite. I was given the options of taking the room I booked which will allow me to get an early check-in and late check-out or waiting for a few hours to get the upgraded suite room. I told them I will take back the original I booked as I needed to check in early and check out late. The front desk executive told me to wait for a while as he needed to check on the readiness of the room. So, I rested at one corner of the lobby, where there are very comfortable sofas and tables for me to use. At the same time, I told the Guest Experience Manager, Ms. Irenna, that I was very impressed with the service and initiative of the front desk executive who served me. After a short while, Ms. Irenna and the executive approached me and informed me that the hotel has upgraded me to another level of suite that will allow me to have early check-in and late check-out. I was very happy with this gesture as it showed me that the hotel will try their best to satisfy a loyal customer. The suite that Ms. Irenna gave me was the Prestige Suite, just a level below their Presidential Suite. Thank you so much for giving me the privilege to enjoy such a beautiful room. The suite is huge and very beautiful. The decoration inside is modern with a warmth feel as they use a lot of wooden materials. The only regret that I had was that I could not stay longer as it was a business trip. During my stay, I encountered a very polite and service-oriented staff by the name of Sharleen. I was surprised when she told me that she is only a trainee there. She will definitely go far in the hospitality industry and would be an asset to the hotel if they hired her permanently. My check-out experience was also very good and smooth. I would like to specifically mention Ms. Cecilia and Mr. Benny who extended my late check-out time and delivered a good check-out experience for me. I am very impressed with the service and facility of the hotel, and I will definitely come back to stay with them again in the not too distance future. I will stay much longer and experience the other facilities in the hotel.

All except the design of the shower area. The shower screen is only half length and no matter how careful I am in the shower, the water seeps into the bathroom area making it very wet and DANGEROUS. Get this rectified.
