The room aircom was very unstable (either too hot or too cold). I quickly had the "masuk angin." The bag inspections for my wife was quite tiresome and insulting. We were told it was for Durien. Seriously? We never have to go through bag inspections when we stay at Kempinski, Grand Hyatt, etc... Is this possible because we are not the typical demographic if the area? ;)

As a Platinum member, I was informed that I was not allowed to enjoy breakfast in both the executive lounge and the main restaurant. I was required to choose only one option — either the lounge or the restaurant downstairs. If I chose the lounge, I could not access the restaurant This policy is extremely disappointing and does not reflect the level of recognition typically associated with Platinum membership. Elite benefits are meant to enhance the guest experience, not limit it. Being asked to “choose one” feels restrictive and inconsistent with premium hospitality standards. The explanation given was also unclear, which added to the frustration. For a hotel positioning itself as an upscale property, this kind of limitation leaves a poor impression on loyal members. I hope management will reconsider this policy and provide clearer communication, as it significantly impacts the overall experience for elite guests.

I loved everything about this hotel, from the room types, customer service, and amenities to the tranquil pool area and gym facilities. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Especially with the waiter named Andre. He offers delicious and fantastic dishes.
