Only positive was the location, but Taxi in and out of hotel was slow due to heavy traffic. Check in was slow, service was not great, concierge was a mess, took more than a day for them to find my parcels, they also knocked and opened our room door to deliver it after 9.30pm when we're in bed. Room was clean but had to ask for amenities as there was non in the room. I hurt my arm on the sharp corner of towel rack while reaching to shut the bathroom blinds, soap dispenser cheap and broke when i tried to use it. Shower drain was clogged. Never again.

Overall, a very pleasant experience, with some reservations regarding the age of the rooms/facilities and the quality of the club lounge food & drinks on the 27th floor. Since 2016, I have always chosen this hotel for my stay in SH. I really appreciate the club lounge on the 27th floor. The staff are still as courteous as they were two or three years ago, but the selection of snacks and bread, their quality, the quality of the orange juice, muesli and wines have deteriorated. Sometimes food and drinks or not or not fast enough replenished, and used crockery is mostly only cleared away after you have left the table.
