Hotel was great however bathroom looked liked it needed a complete refurb and getting to and from Haram was an issue with lifts.

The location is perfect for those wanting walking distance to Haram Mosque. If not for this I would otherwise never recommend your hotel. I have 3 issues I will explain why I would not want to use your hotel again. 1. Im an accor member and had a confirmed booking. Yet, your staff sent me an email a day before my booking (I was travelling) coercing me into early prepayment or my booking would be considered a no show and cancelled. This is not good and not acceptable for the standards of accor or a hotel of your ranking. 2. My wife and I had to carry and offload our own luggage and cart these around which was very annoying. The driver tried to get your porter but he only arrived several minutes later and stepped up as we were making our way through the basement entrance - not impressed. 3. Your public level facilities require access card. My wife had to use your toilet at ground floor and had to come back to get an access card. What you fail to understand is access to an essential facility shoykd not be difficult and as a guest or couple or family not everyone will carry a card usually it coyld be the husband for example. I dont like your approach and sadly it seems to be an accor thing as we wxperienced the same restriction at your other hotek in Madinah.

Stayed at a few clock tower hotels but nothing is good as Swiss. Perfect service and lovely hotel
