The hotel has a very good location near Elharam .the only thing I noticed that some pieces of furniture needed renovation. The number of guests is huge ,so keeping everything clean especially in the restaurant is a big challenge and this is what we are waiting from a hotel like Swiss Almaqam .

We were basically not given what we paid for just because a Lady (who checked us in) was angry for simply pointing to her that she was wasting our time. We booked 2 rooms halfboard but they removed not only dinner but breakfast. In fact, it was only after we checked in at Pullman Zam Zam in Madinah that I remembered that we were not given welcome drinks as well. Imagine being turned back from restaurant while you have travelled hours from your country and was looking forward to the dinner to calm you down. It's one thing for this to happen, it's another thing to call their attention to it and for them to maintained that your booking came with no food. The worst happened when I showed the booking to a gentleman at the reception the following morning after having missed dinner and after having mailed then at 2:32am asking for a redress before breakfast, only told be told by the gentleman, that the payment confirmation showing half board was what I was meant to pay. He basically could not interpret their own booking confirmation. You wonder if they were trained using their own system. It was just plain English but the Guy insisted that the room payment confirmation was what I needed to pay in order to have food with my booking. He later took a screenshot from my phone and then went inside and after a while, he came back to say that the booking was actually half board and that he was sorry. Unfortunately, the restaurant still say that there was no meal with our booking but they allowed us inside after having embarrassed us on the queue. We were called later to say it was system error but it's clear as day and night that it was the evil lady that did it as she was angry for telling her why she needed to ask for my passport twice after she collected it and enter all the passport and visa details.
